Employee Spotlight: Shane Sayer

What is your position at Zennify and what do you do?

I work as a Sr. Consultant, helping lead and manage projects on the Salesforce platform.

How long have you been working with Zennify?

Just over two years.

How has Zennify supported you in your career goals?

Zennify has supported my growth from day one! When I first started I had very limited knowledge of the Salesforce platform. Since then I’ve obtained four (almost five) certifications and a ton of experience consulting on the platform and building solutions for the clients I work with.

What has your journey with Zennify looked like?

I started as a BA and quickly transitioned into a Project Lead/Consultant role. It was a quick ramp up but with my prior experience and awesome support from leadership and peers it was a smooth transition. I am currently working towards becoming a developer, with a long term goal of Solution Architect!

What’s your favorite part of working for Zennify?

I love the people and the culture, it feels like family! Every day presents something new and challenging, with such a diverse portfolio of clients and projects there is never a dull moment and plenty of opportunity!

How has Zennify grown since you’ve been here?

When I started here I believe I was the 19th employee, today we have over 80 and are still growing. We also have two brand new office locations in Boise and Sacramento, the amenities make coming into work enjoyable. It’s exciting to be a part of!

What does your average day look like?

My average day is typically filled with project work, meetings(internal & client facing), learning new features/methods for developing on the Salesforce platform, and studying for whatever certification I have my sights on. When I need to take a break, I prefer to play a quick match of cornhole or try my hand at breaking the high score on the new arcade game console (this month’s game is Galaga)!

What advice do you have to other’s who are considering a career in this industry?

If you’re a self starter and enjoy learning new things, give it a shot you won’t be disappointed. There are so many different ways to grow and new things to learn, it is fun!
